Karl Gouverneur (pronounced “Governor”) joined Northwestern Mutual in 2006 after having established himself as an innovative business leader with a focus on digital across several industries and most recently insurance and financial services.
In his current role, Gouverneur leads NM’s technology teams focusing on all employee experiences which includes workplace tech and corporate systems. In addition, Gouverneur is responsible for digital innovation across the enterprise, raising the profile of Milwaukee with regards to digital (#MKETechHub) and is executive director for the NM Data Science Institute. Gouverneur delivers digital assets that drive value by enriching the experience of the company’s employees including an award-winning digital innovation program. Pete Dulcamara is Chief Scientist & Technical Vice-President for the Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He is responsible for developing technology strategies at the enterprise level, building technical talent globally, and fostering a culture of scientific excellence and value creation.
In his first 12 years with Kimberly-Clark, Pete led the discovery, development, and delivery of science and technology as Vice-President for Corporate Research & Engineering. Under his leadership, Corporate Research & Engineering provided advanced scientific research and technology development to all businesses, brands, and regions globally in the areas of materials, life and analytical sciences, innovation testing, global clinical affairs, technology licensing, and research management solutions.
Before joining Kimberly-Clark, Pete had 18 years’ experience with The Dow Chemical Company where he held various positions for numerous businesses in research and development, new business development, sustainable development, mergers & acquisitions, corporate licensing, and new ventures.
Pete is a member of the Partnership Council for the Toilet Board Coalition which is a global, business-led alliance of leading companies, government agencies, sanitation experts and non-profit organizations with the aim to develop commercially sustainable and scalable solutions to the global sanitation crisis. He is an emeritus board member for New North, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, regional economic development organization for Northeast Wisconsin. He serves as Kimberly-Clark’s preferred shareholder Void Technologies, LTD. He is the Innovation Fellow at TitleTownTech, a JV between Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers to enable and invest in early-stage businesses. Within Kimberly-Clark, Pete is the executive sponsor of Capabilities First Employee Network and is the Executive Sponsor for Kimberly-Clark’s partnership with Michigan Technological University.
Pete is based in Neenah, Wisconsin where he lives with his wife, Gina, and their two children.

Giulio Soliani is an Offering Manager for the IBM Watson Group with a Masters of Science in Engineering background. Throughout his career, Giulio has worked with IBM clients worldwide to implement Watson solutions in the Customer Care space. He is originally from Italy and is quite passionate about food (what a surprise!).

Jake Beyer brings over 15 years of customer service and contact center experience to EDCi where he serves as the Director of Customer Care. Jake and his team focus on helping organizations optimize their contact center software and processes and integrating them into their business to gain maximum efficiencies. As a result of Jake’s inventive technical guidance and his out-of-the-box thinking, EDCi’s Customer Care team has received the Innovation Award from Interactive Intelligence three times over the last decade. Jake is passionate about technology and invests a great deal of time into keeping his skills current. From complex contact center integrations to optimization and consulting, he understands the vital task of aligning IT with the strategic goals of the business.

Serving as a business consultant, executive coach, and life coach, Gary Loop has been transforming businesses and guiding leaders for nearly seven years as President of Loop Group, LLC. With over 20 years of business experience and 12 years spent specifically entering new organizations facing various challenges, he has a unique ability to develop deep levels of trust, from CEO to the front line, which allows him to implement immediate and long enduring best practices. His passion for making the employees the primary cornerstone of organization health has allowed him to transform businesses, both operationally and culturally.
Gary is looking forward to emceeing and performing standup comedy at Envision, 2019. Gary entered the comedy scene after receiving a call from Jay Leno. By Jay’s prompting, Gary auditioned at a local club and afterward, was asked to stay on permanently. From there, he started performing at comedy clubs wherever invited, including the Comedy Café in Milwaukee, Comedy Store in La Jolla, California, and Comedy Works in Denver, Colorado. He later walked away from comedy to place his primary focus on his growing business career, but has continued to write and goes back to his standup comedy roots whenever he has time.

Julie brings over 20 years of experience in CX, Technology and Operations to EDCi where she helps organizations improve their customer experience, optimize operations and mature through their digital journey. She finds that designing Artificial Intelligence solutions is becoming the most common core contributor in reaching business goals.
Julie is passionate about exploring disruptive technologies and how they can transform our work and our lives. She serves on the board of directors for Advancing AI Wisconsin, whose mission is to help educate Wisconsin organizations about new or disruptive technologies.
Julie studied at the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and at Richmond College, London earning a B.B.A in Finance. After a career in merger and acquisition integration, ERP and software implementation, and operational management, with both private and public organizations, she transitioned into consulting to pursue her educational and technology aspirations.
Julie is married with 2 children and a puppy who keep her busy! She enjoys the outdoors, reading and writing books, teaching in youth organizations, and taking classes (she wishes she could be a full time student forever). She also likes to run, but beware, she is a lousy golfer!
